Your Neighborhood Music School
Servicing the Greater East End district of Houston, TX since 2022
East End Music Lessons began when lifelong friends Halston Luna and Jake Rynearson decided to do something about the shortage of music education where they live. The two guitarists noticed few options in Houston’s greater East End, so they opened the kind of place that had been there for them as kids exploring music. Today, with a performance-first approach, we’ve built lesson plans and techniques that spark students’ creativity and help them share their music with friends, family, and the wider world.

At our private music school, sharing the gift of music means more than perfecting technique — it’s about bringing people together through performance and shared enjoyment. From ensemble rehearsals and informal jam sessions to community recitals and outreach concerts, students, teachers, and families connect, learn from one another, and celebrate creativity as a collective. These shared musical experiences build trust, spark friendships across ages and backgrounds, and create a welcoming community where confidence, empathy, and joy grow alongside musical skill.
